Basketball Season is Over

Hayden played his last basketball game last week. They won! Those little boys really work their butts off. He was able to play on the same team as his two best buddies, Alec and Gavin. Good Job Hayd!

Wyatt played his last game on Monday night. Their team was undefeated up to this point, and they had won most of their games by 30 points or more. Put it this way... their team is good! Anyway, their last game was with the team they had played their first game of the season with. Wyatt's team had basically whooped them by about 40 points the first go round. So apparently this team made it their goal to beat Wyatt's team at the end of the season. And boy did they try. The game was neck and neck the whole way through. Our team would go up by two points and then they would come back and take the lead. It was 4th quarter and we were up by about 5 points. Somehow that other team came back and tied the game. We went in to overtime for two minutes and these boys fought for the win, but after the time was up, they were tied again! Because the game got so "physical", the refs and coaches decided to end the game. As you will see by the next 2 pictures, Wyatt wasn't thrilled. Oh well, I keep telling him that a season with 8 wins, and 1 tied game is pretty dang good! We love ya bud!

Go Jazz!

Mike & I took Hayden to the Jazz game tonight. It was such a blast! We ate dinner there, and Mike was the honorary coach... (he got to sit right behind the Jazz players)! Anyway, Wyatt went to a birthday party, so Hayden lucked out big time and got to go. We went down on the floor before the game started, and when the players came out Hayden got to high five every single one of them (I'll post a video as proof). It was a lot of fun, especially because the Jazz beat the Clippers by a landslide! Good times....

We went to the rivalry game between BYU and the Utes on Saturday. It was the most intense game I've ever been to. We really thought when the cougars were down by a point and it was 4th down and 18 yards to go, we were going to lose. But, Austin Collie is freaking awesome and caught an amazing pass that gave them a 1st down. Right after that, Unga scored a touchdown! It was so fun! We couldn't believe our eyes! What a great time it was. Poor Mike had to give up his ticket to Wyatt because of his injury. Nate and Tiff and Dad were there too. What a great day! Wyatt loved letting the Ute fans know that we won over and over again.

Hayden also had a football party at the end of his season. These little 3rd graders had to work really hard, and they did a great job! Hayden and his cousin Brady were able to play on the same team. They had a great time together!

Go Pioneers

It cracks me up that Wyatt is playing football for the purple "Lehi Pioneers". It's fun to cheer for Lehi again... lol!!! He played really hard this season and did a great job. These are pictures of their "end of season" football party.

Go BYU!!!!

Tiffany, Brady, Hayden and I (and Grandpa) went to the BYU game last Saturday. We had a blast!! It was awesome weather and the boys loved their Cosmo hats!
