Everyone better do this if I am... :)

My little sister, Misty, bless her heart, tagged me... Whatever that means. Anyway, I thought I'd be a good sport and play along. You can too by cutting and pasting the following and putting your own answers in. Its kinda fun... I guess. :)

Snow Day

Today has been a very interesting day for me. I had a hair appointment, but canceled quickly due to the weather. The boys couldn't ride the bus home because of the snow! I don't remember that happening since the time I was in elementary. It makes me very grateful that I have a warm house and food to eat on a day like this. Since I've been stuck at home today, I've been watching the news and all the great things that President Hinckley did in his life. He was such an amazing man, and a wonderful leader. He connected with everyone and had such a great sense of humor. I admire him and appreciate the great example he's been to me and my family! This picture was at his wife's funeral. I am so happy to know that he gets to be with her again...
My cousin, Molly showed me this link... I think it's a great tribute to our prophet!

What song was #1 when you were born?

My sister found a website that lets you know what song was #1 on any given day. I did our birthdays...

Mike's - Leaving on a Jet Plane by Peter, Paul and Mary
Holly's - You're Having My Baby by Paul Anka w/ Odia Coates (Interesting)
Wyatt's - Fantasy by Mariah Carey
Hayden's - The First Night by Monica

If you want to try it out go to the following link:

Go Jazz!

Mike & I took Hayden to the Jazz game tonight. It was such a blast! We ate dinner there, and Mike was the honorary coach... (he got to sit right behind the Jazz players)! Anyway, Wyatt went to a birthday party, so Hayden lucked out big time and got to go. We went down on the floor before the game started, and when the players came out Hayden got to high five every single one of them (I'll post a video as proof). It was a lot of fun, especially because the Jazz beat the Clippers by a landslide! Good times....

Apologize video

This is a video from the concert...

One Republic Concert

Hayden and his friend Alec had a great time waving their cell phones like everyone else.

Wyatt brought his friend Tyler...

Mike and I, along with our friends Mike and Karen Webb, brought the boys to the One Republic concert last night in Orem. It was so much fun! I love the band and listen to their CD all time. And, the best part is that the lead singer sounds just as good on stage as he does on the CD! I will try to put a video of it on here if I can figure it out. Anyway, we got all the boys t-shirts and they wore them to school today. We got home late for a school night, but it was worth it.

Party @ Hodder's (take 2)

Little Karlee & Tagen were so cute that night! And Mike was gracious enough to give the little kids a ride on his scooter (ha ha)! Anyway, thanks to Rodger and Natasha, the party was a huge success!

Day after Christmas party @ The Hodder's

We always do a party the day after Christmas. My mom started that tradition because she thought that day was too depressing. Anyway, Rodger and Natasha hosted it at their house this year. It was a lot of fun! Their house looks amazing too!

Christmas Morning Scones!

Everyone came over on Christmas day for scones at our house. A tradition I started a few years back so I don't have to leave my house.... Smart huh!

Tiff & Mom
(How Cute!)

We thought we would make Todd's day by getting Tristan a BYU jersey and ball for Christmas. What a proud dad Todd must be!!

Christmas Morning...

Hayden decided to set his alarm clock for 4 AM without anyone knowing this year. They came in and woke us up and we made them stay in bed with us for another hour until we were ready to peel ourselves out of bed. It was really fun though. The boys got everything they wanted... and more! Mike and I laid on the couch watching them open their gifts, and as soon as they were done we went back to bed. One great thing about having older kids!

Christmas Eve at Grandma's House

Christmas Eve was lots of fun as usual at Grandma's house this year. We ate tons of food until we were sick, played Bingo, Hayden sang, Mike read the Birth of Christ scripture and we opened tons of gifts. The boys got the Nintendo Wii! .... Spoiled Rotten!

Christmas came early to Wyatt and Hayden

Mom and Dad came over on Saturday night to watch the BYU game at our house (thank goodness they won). Mom thought it would be a good idea to give the boys their gifts early this year. It was a great idea because they hadn't already gotten a million other gifts, so the boys really enjoyed it.

Mike's company party

We went to Mike's company Christmas party this past Friday. We decided to stay at the hotel it was being held at the night before. Anyway, it snowed all night long and this was the view from our hotel room the next morning. Gorgeous... I love the snow when it looks like this!

They just cast Edward in the Twilight Movie

So, I just noticed that they cast Robert Pattinson as Edward in the Twilight Movie. I'm not sure if I think that was a good idea. I guess he played Cedric in the the last two Harry Potter Movies. Hmmm.... I think I'll go watch them right away before I make my decision. He's pretty cute, but I think he needs to wax his eyebrows!

Thanks to Misty

I just have to say thanks to Misty for always commenting on my posts. Otherwise, it would look like I have NO friends. I think she feels sorry for me, so she always writes something... What a nice sister.

I gave Mike the scope he really wanted for his gun. He was pretty excited!

Mike's Bday

Mike and Misty had their birthday party on the same night. Mike really got hooked up. He had just flown in from Texas, and we had a really fun party for him. It was so nice of everyone to show up this time of year!

The Wadsworth's and the Barber's gave him these cool new shoes.

Alan & Bonnie gave him these sweet new boots.

Misty's Bday

These are pictures of Misty's birthday party. We had such a good time. Tiff and I set up "Misty's Salon" in my bedroom. We had fake champagne and chocolate strawberries. She opened gifts while soaking her feet, and then Tiff and I gave her a pedicure. Tiff also gave her a shoulder massage. She really got pampered that night.
